Leading
Manx co-driver Rob Fagg returns to competitive UK action this
weekend as he travels to Yorkshire to contest the North Humberside
Forest Rally. The Isle of Man Sports Aid Foundation and Isle of Man
Bank Scholarship recipient will compete with Yorkshire man Tim
Pearcy in a MSR Motorsport run Mitsubishi Evo 6.
This
will be the first time Rob has partnered Tim, but the pair are no
strangers to each other having both competed at the front end of the
competitive 2004 ANCRO Clubman's Championship. That year Tim and Rob
won their respective titles despite not competing with each other.
The new pairing will be looking to battle for class honours with the
leading N4 crews, with Tim in confident mood after his good
showing on last weekends Border Counties where he finished 9th
overall, dropping from 5th on the last stage with mechanical
problems.
The North
Humberside Forest Rally starts on Saturday
morning around 8:00am from the Ramada Jarvis Hotel in Hull and
sees the crews head out to tackle
45 competitive miles through
the fast Yorkshire forests, before returning to Hull for the
finish around 17:00.
