Fagg goes looking for points in Wales

Round 5 of the BTRDA Silkolene Rally Championship takes place this weekend, the Red Dragon Rally. competing will be Manx Motorsport Youth Trust recipient co-driver Rob Fagg will team up with Liverpudlian Tony Simpson in the Team Mortgage Matters VW Polo run by the experienced www.rallyschool.co.uk team.

After their second in class on the previous round the pair hope to continue their recent form and add to the points accumulated so far this season.   The main competition will again come from fellow Polo crews Paul Green and Clare Samuel, the latter is currently leading the N1 championship.

Simpson and Manx Gas backed Fagg will hope to take revenge on Samuel who piped them to the win on the last round by a mere 3 seconds.

"I am looking forward to this weekend and hope that Tony and I can continue the good form we showed down in Somerset.   Both of us feel confident going into the event and are looking forward to battling with the N1 front runners and hope we can reverse the Somerset result." commented Rob, "I must thank Manx Gas also who have agreed to assist me this season and without this generous support I would have been re-thinking my season."
