Local co-driver Rob Fagg travels to the UK
this weekend to begin his BTRDA Championship campaign.
He teams up with Liverpool rally driver Tony Simpson and together
they will compete for the Class N1 honours in the Silkolene F1400
Championship.
It will be the pair's first event together and
Tony's return to rallying after a short lay-off. After a
recent test session though and some tuition from renowned tutor
Geoff Jones, Simpson is keen to get back behind the wheel.
The car they will be competing in is a VW Polo run by the Shropshire
Rally School team, who will also run two other Polo's in the team
this year.
Rob's campaign is being support by local
companies Integrated Capabilities and Aon (IOM) Ltd.
Despite this he is still looking for help towards the 2004 season.
