Again their main threats will come from series leader John Hanson,
Rally of the Midlands winner Tom Lunn and Innes Clark. The later
two competed on the event last year but for Hanson it will be his
first trip to the island. Clark also holds the lead in the junior
category which Leece is keen to close in on also.
The
event gets underway on Friday evening with the crews tackling three
stages but an overnight halt. They will restart bright and early
Saturday morning for the remaining eight stages with the final stage
finishing at the TT Grandstand in Douglas after close to 100 miles
of rallying on some of the finest tarmac stages in Europe.
