2004 Approaches

For 2004 we are pleased to announce that Rob Fagg will continue his partnership with George Collister for a fourth consecutive season.   After a successful 2003 contesting the Manx Stage Rally Championship together, with George collecting the Class D title and Rob picking up the Overall Co-drivers championship, the pair have decided the time is right to step to the next level and have chosen the very competitive Kumho Clubman's Championship based in the UK

The pair competed on the final round of the 2003 Championship and gave a good account of themselves finishing 7th overall in the event but they would have been 2nd in the Clubman runners on that event to Ieuan Rowlands, the eventual Clubman Champion.

George and Rob will kick off there campaign on the 22nd February on the Kall Kwik Rally based in Yorkshire.

With Ford still to announce their plans for the Ka series Rob has been left to look elsewhere for a competitive run within the BTRDA series.   With a number of possible routes it seems all that is holding Rob back is the financial backing to commit to a second championship.   It is too late to find a run for the first round but with the Malcolm Wilson running on the 6th March he is hopefuly of finding something for that.

Thanks for continued support into 2004 goes to:  Manx Motorsport Youth Trust, Integrated Capabilities, Cronk Aashen Farm Campsite, Tim Shearman, Sign and Design, and www.rallycodriver.co.uk
