November
has been a quiet spell for Rob, he contested the Cambrian Rally
at the start of the month but since then has been relaxing and
enjoying time away from the stages.
Looking
forward to December he currently has three events scheduled, two of
which are in the UK and the third the Manx Championship
decider. On the 6th he shall compete alongside the
improving Richard Curphey on the Grizedale Stages. The
pairing shall be using Richard's home prepared 1400 Nova Sport for
what will be his first and Rob's third visit to the
event. With Richard looking to contest the BTRDA 1400
series next year he is hoping to get some valuable stage mileage
under his belt.
It
will be a busy weekend for Rob though who will travel to Galloway straight
after the event for scrutineering for Sundays Galloway Hills
Rally. For the event he will team up with fellow
2003 Ka Championship competitor Callum Bendall. The
pairing will use the Ka which Callum has used to contest the 2003
season and with cash prizes up for the first 3 Ka's they will be
aiming for them.
With
a break for the festive period in will then be business as usual on
the Isle of Man as Rob returns alongside George Collister for the
final round of the Manx Stage Rally Championship. With
him being involved in a three way fight for the co-drivers title he
will be keen to have a good event.
"I
have done a lot of events this year but the domestic championship
has always been a high priority" Rob explained, "I have
had a good year and whatever happens I will look back on what has
been a great learning year."
Reports
from the events and more details pre-event will appear here so check
