Rob secures two runs in 2 weeks

With regular Ka competitor Matthew Bettridge missing the Jim Clark Junior Rally, Rob will now contest the event with Tom Metcalfe.   Tom is new to the series and his first round was the Red Dragon at the end of May where he was forced to retire due to a broken fuel pump.

The event will be a first for both of them but Rob is no stranger to the fast tarmac with competing locally on the Isle of Man and also contesting the Manx National and Manx Trophy twice before, last year winning the Trophy alongside George Collister.

"I am looking forward to the event and hope that Tom and I will have a good run.   It should not hopefully take us too long to get used to each other, having a reece as well should help with this." explained Rob.

It will be a busy fortnight for the Douglas based co-driver as the Friday after the Jim Clark he will fly out to Belfast to compete on a local club rally there.   Rob will be teaming up again with Sean Warnock (JT) who he competed on the DONE Easter Stages with and got a fine 7th place.

"The trip over to Ireland will be another step in my rallying and can only benefit myself.   It will be nice to be alongside JT again after such a good run at Easter" Rob told us.

We will keep you updated with the latest news here on the official website.
